Just last month, Electric Studio has opened its doors to Manila’s fitness enthusiasts. The place is conveniently located at 8 Forbes Town Road and is one of the numerous health and wellness establishments that can be found in the building. I paid them a visit last weekend to plug in and zone out.
The upbeat vibe from the staff upon entrance was contagious. The interior was crisp and clean with a sudden pop of color.
Electric Studio carries Nike apparel with a few items branded with their logo. I thought these were really cool and almost bought that last gray sweater right there if I didn’t have 3 others like it sitting in my closet! :p
The whole look of the space matched the energy of those who met us at the reception up to our instructor that morning, Raisa.
The studio itself was candlelit and lights were adjusted depending on the tracks enhancing the experience. Unfortunately, photos weren’t allowed inside. We were even reminded to leave our phones in our lockers.
We pedaled and moved to awesome pop tracks at Raisa’s class. I enjoyed her playlist, as well as how she led us through the whole workout.
What I love about spin classes is the feeling of dancing on a bike. Apparently, Raisa sees it the same way. That probably explains why I danced it out more in her class than the previous class I joined. The clear evidence was a small puddle of sweat (pardon me), I found on the floor by my bike after class.
The ride left me feeling energized rather than spent and exhausted. And although it was our first time, the friendly team behind Electric Studio made sure Nic and I felt that we belonged there.
So are we going back? Definitely. In fact, I think I’ll avail of their ongoing First Timer Package– Only P1500 for the first 5 rides. 😉 You probably should too!
